New Year, Same Old Horrible Zombie Plague

when the dead on the bookshelf

Hi everyone!

2012 was great in so many ways for When the Dead but I am even more excited about 2013!! With the paperback out, I can now table at conventions and show people how nice the book looks.

This new year and milestone with the paperback also means that I can focus on new writing projects and BOY do I have plenty of them. In 2013 you can anticipate an illustrated short story collection following the spread of a plague, a retrospective novella narrated by a teen boy, a short and sad anthology submission with romance, war and zombies as well as a non-zombie story about making yourself available to those who need you (sounds sappy but it is twisted).

The short story illustrations and cover art will be provided by the amazing Canadian artist Lyle Schultz. His work can be viewed here.

In May, I am hoping to table at Crypticon Seattle! Just one short and crazy year after pitching my book there, before it was even finished, to anyone who would listen!

I am also working closely with a great new publishing company, Evil Girlfriend Media, to possibly provide book formatting services and a few other things too!

Stay tuned and always stay ready for the zombie apocalypse.
